Beware of low quality salt, which often have particles of clay/rock from the mines and contain impurities.
Here are some facts about the Himalayan salt.
1. Well-balanced salt: it is a naturally occurring salt rich in a number of minerals. Table salt, being heavily processed, contains almost 97-99% sodium chloride. On the other hand, Himalayan sea salt is only about 87% sodium chloride, rest consisting of minerals such as phosphorous, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, bromine, zirconium and iodine.
2. No additives: no added chemicals nor anti-caking agents.
3. Cleanest salt: coming from the Punjab region of Pakistan, the ancient salt mine is 250 million years old, which was composed of dried remnants of the original primal sea.
Use it in cooking! It has more delicate taste than the table salt. It is less salty than table salt as it contains other minerals other than sodium.
We strongly recommend to start your day with a little bit of pink salt in water when you wake up. Just half a teaspoon of salt in a glass of water, drink it. This helps your adrenals get started. It also helps if you suffer from keto flu. If you then start the day with Bulletproof Coffee with grass-fed butter and MCT oil, you are good to go!
